I am living approximately 15km. from the nearest Masjid. Do I need to give Adhan when performing Salat alone?

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Shariah emphasizes performing Salat with Jamat. You should therefore make every effort to frequent the Masjid.

Whenever you are unable to visit the Masjid you should try to gather members of your locality and form your own local Jamat for Salat.

If that is not possible then you should perform Salat in Jamat with your wife and your children.

In principle whenever a male performs Salat by himself in his house in a town, it is still preferable to call the Adhan and the Iqamah as this resembles performing Salat with Jamat. [1]
