Question:

I slept after Fajr, when I woke up I realize that I had a wet dream. Is my fast broken?

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Nocturnal emissions do not break one’s fast, nor does being in the state of impurity breaks one’s fast. However, it puts you in an impure state and Ghusl will now be wajib upon you. One should not unduly delay making Ghusl. (Bahisti Zewar – Moulana Ashraf Ali Thanwi (RA); Vol 1 pg. 68)
