Question:

Whenever no-Muslims commit crimes against Muslims are they punished in this world?

What is their punishment in the Hereafter?

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

If a non-Muslim commits a wrong in a Muslim country, then he will be held accountable for the crime that he had committed. The punishment that will be meted out to him will be dependent upon the crime that was committed.

A non-Muslim will be permanently punished in the Hereafter firstly for not accepting Islam. Then the punishment for whatever crime he has committed in a non-Muslim country will be between him and Allah Ta’ala in the Hereafter.[1]
